Concrete Ring sawing is similar to that of hand sawing but is capable of cutting up to much deeper depths due to the substitution of the rotary blade to a ring blade powered by the motor using rollers to rotate the ring diamond blade allowing the blade to enter concrete at total blade depth of 270mm or 330mm depth. 

Ring saws are commonly used for smaller-scale jobs due to their increased mobility. Ring saws are petrol-powered and fumeless, which is beneficial when working in confined areas that may not be well ventilated.
